JAGGERY
JAGGERY is a traditional non centrifugal cane sugar consumed in Indian subcontinent and south east Asia. It is a concentrated cane juice and often date or palm sap without separation of molasses and can vary from Golden brown to dark brown in colour. Jaggery is a sweetner that’s becoming popular as a “healthy” replacement for sugar. About 70% of the worlds jaggery production takes place from India only
